Amasya İlinde Bir Köpekte Visceral Leishmaniasis

Öz

Bu çalışmanın hayvan materyalini, kliniğimize derisinde uzun süreli iyileşmeyen yaralar ve kronik burun kanaması şikayetleri ile getirilen 8 yaşındaki erkek alman çoban köpeği oluşturdu. Köpeğin klinik muayenesinde, beden ısısında artış, tırnaklarda uzama ve deformasyonla birlikte burun kanaması belirlendi. Bu bulgulara dayanarak Leishmaniasis’den şüphe edildi. Leishmania spp. yönünden yapılan hızlı test kiti (Leish® speed) ile hastalığın pozitif, IFAT (indirekt immunofloresan antikor testi) ile de 1/256 titre de pozitif olduğu saptandı. Bu olgu ile Amasya ilinde ilk defa bir köpekte visseral leishmaniasis bildirilmektedir
