Thymoquinone: The Bioactive Component of Nigella Sativa

Abstract

Thymoquinone (TQ) which was isolated from Nigella Sativa (NS), particularly has the beneficial effects such as antioxidant, anticancerogenic, antihyperlipidemic, hepatoprotective. The biochemical and physiological properties of TQ was summarized in this review
