ETÇİ KOYUN IRKLARI İLE KIVIRCIK MELEZİ (F1) KUZULARIN BESİ PERFORMANSI VE KARKAS ÖZELLİKLERİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Kıvırcık ve Kıvırcıkların etçi koyun ırklarıyla melezlenmesi sonucu elde edilen melez (F1) erkek kuzuların performansı ve karkas özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla düzenlenmiştir. Araştırma, herbirinde 12 baş erkek kuzu bulanan Kıvırcık, Hampshire Down x Kıvırcık (HD x K), Siyah Başlı Alman x Kıvırcık (SBA x K) melezi (F1) toplam 36 kuzu ile yürütülmüştür. Deneme toplam 70 gün sürmüştür. Kuzuların besi başlangıç ağırlığı, besi sonu ağırlığı, besi süresince günlük ortalama canlı ağırlık artışı, günlük yem tüketimi, yemden yararlanma oranı, soğuk karkas ağırlığı ve karkas randımanı gruplara göre sırasıyla; 16.54 ± 0.588, 16.98 ±0.617 ve 16.48 ± 0.687 kg; 32.33 ± 1.077, 37.98 ±1.363 ve 37.08 ± 1.173 kg; 225.6 ± 9.67, 299.9 ± 13.42 ve 294.3 ± 13.58 g; 1.115, 1.255 ve 1.220 kg; 4.942, 4.184 ve 4.146 kg; 15.6 ± 0.68, 19.2 ± 0.95 ve 18.4 ± 0.936 kg; 16.2 ± 0.71, 19.8 ± 0.93 ve 18.8 ± 0.98; % 48.8 ± 0.39, % 50.1 ± 1.07 ve % 49.6 ± 0.10 olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, melez (F1) kuzuların canlı ağırlık artışının Kıvırcık kuzulardan önemli derecede yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir (P<0.01). Kuzuların kesim ve karkas özelliklerinden
kesimhane, sıcak ve soğuk karkas ağırlığı bakımından da önemli bir
farklılık gözlenmiştir (P<0.05 ve P<0.01).

(Fattening Performance and Carcass Characteristics of (Fı) Lambs Crosbred Between

Abstract

The research was planned to determine fattening performance and carcass characteristics of Kıvırcık and crossbered (F1) male Lambs which were off spring of Mutton Breeds x Kıvırcık crossbreding programme. The investigation was carried out with Kıvırcık, Hampshire Down x Kıvırcık (HD x K) and German Black Head x Kıvırcık (GBH x K) crossbred (F1) lamb groups each consisted of 12 male lambs fattening period was 70 days. Average initial live weighte, final weight, daily live weight gain at fattening period, daily feed consumetion, feed efficiency, cold carcass weight and dressing percentage of the groups were determined as;16.54 ± 0.588, 16.98 ±0.617 and 16.48 ± 0.687 kg; 32.33 ± 1.077, 37.98 ±1.363 and 37.08 ± 1.173 kg; 225.6 ± 9.67, 299.9 ± 13.42 and 294.3 ± 13.58 g; 1.115, 1.255 and 1.220 kg; 4.942, 4.184 and 4.146 kg; 15.6 ± 0.68, 19.2 ± 0.95 and 18.4 ±0.936 kg; 16.2 ± 0.71, 19.8 ± 0.93 and 18.8 ± 0.98; 48.8 ± 0.39 %, 50.1 ± 1.07 % and 49.6 ± 0.10 % respectively. It was determined that live weight gain of crossbred (F1) lambs were significantly higher than Kıvırcık lambs (P<0.01). Fattening performance of HD x K and GBH x K crossbred (F1) lambs were obviously higher.
