HOLŞTAYN BOĞA SPERMALARININ +400C’DE SAKLANMASINDA FARKLI SPERMA SULANDIRICILARININ MOTİLİTEYE ETKİSİ

Abstract

Bu araştırma Laiciphose W 488 ve AndroMed sulandırıcıları ile sulandırılıp +40C’ de saklanan boğa spermalarında
günlük motilite değerlendirilmesi ve sulandırıcıların karşılaştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada 4 Holştayn boğadan
alınan toplam 40 ejekülat kullanılmıştır. Ejekülatlar iki kısma ayrılarak Laiciphose W 488 ve AndroMed ile sulandırılmıştır.
Sulandırılmış spermaların sıcaklığı 45 dakikada +40C’ ye düşürüldükten sonra buzdolabına nakledilmiştir. Spermatozoa
motilite kontrolleri sulandırmadan 10 gün sonrasına kadar bakılmıştır. Sulandırma sonrası spermatozoa motilitesi Laiciphose
W 488 için % 83.37±0.37 ve AndroMed için ise % 83.12±0.38 olmuştur. Spermatozoa motilitesi 3. gün AndroMed ile
sulandırılan spermalarda tüm boğalarda % 50’ nin üzerinde bulunurken, Laiciphos W 488 ile sulandırılan spermalarda iki
boğa için % 50’ nin altında tespit edilmiştir. Spermatozoa motilitesi 3. günden sonraki günler tedricen azalmış ve 10. günde
ise her iki sulandırıcı için spermatozoa motilitesi sıfırlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak her iki sulandırıcıyla sulandırılıp +40C’ de
saklanan boğa spermaları 3 gün süresince sun’i tohumlamada kullanılabilir. Motilitenin korunması açısından iki sulandırıcı
arasında önemli bir fark tesbit edilememiştir.

Different Semen Extenders Effect on Motility of Holstein Bull Semen Stored at +40C

Abstract

This study was conducted to compare Laiciphose W 488 and AndroMed extenders for maintaining sperm motility at 40C in bulls. In the study 40 ejaculates collected from 4 Holstein bulls were used. Ejaculates were divided into two groups and were diluted with Laiciphos W 488 and AndroMed. Diluted semen was cooled to +40C in 45 minutes. After that they were transferred into the refrigerator. Sperm motility was estimated daily up to day 10 post dilution. Immediately after dilution sperm motility rates were 83.37±0.37 % and 83.12±0.38 % for Laiciphos W 488 and AndroMed extenders, respectively. Sperm motility for the samples diluted with AndroMed on day 3 was above 50 % in all bulls studied. However, motility rates in sperm samples diluted with Laiciphos W 488 were higher than 50% in 2 bulls only. Motility rates gradually decreased day by day after day 3 post-dilution and, finally, dropped zero on day 10 in the both extender groups. As a result, it was concluded that bull sperm diluted with both extenders which can be used for artificial insemination during 3 days at +40C and no significant difference was determined between extenders on the preservation of sperm motility
