β-Sinir Büyüme Faktörü’nün Reprodüktif Etkileri

Abstract

 Sinir büyüme faktörü (NGF), yaklaşık 13 kDa moleküler ağırlığa sahip bir protein olup nörotrofin ailesinin ilk tanımlanan üyesidir. NGF temel olarak kök hücre, nötrofil, lenfosit ve monositlerin hayatta kalmasını, farklılaşmasını ve çoğalmasını etkilemektedir. Ayrıca dişi ve erkek reprodüktif dokularında ve çeşitli nöral olmayan hücrelerde de bulunmaktadır. β-NGF provoke ovulatör türlerde ovulasyonu indüklemekte, aynı zamanda koyun, tavşan, sığır, at, domuz, keçi ve deve gibi türlerde GnRH agonisti olarak görev almaktadır. Reprodüktif etkileri provoke ovulatör türlerin ötesine uzanmakta, sadece dişi reprodüksiyonu ile sınırlandırılmamakta, erkek üreme sistemi açısından da önemli görevlerde yer almaktadır.
