The scope of the Furniture and Wooden Material Research Journal includes furniture production, furniture design, furniture top-surface processing, quality control in furniture production, furniture import and export, and computer-aided furniture design. In addition, the journal covers wood-based composite materials, wood-plastic composites, the processing, strengthening, protection, and modification of wood, and the physical, mechanical, and other technical properties of wood. Studies on pulp and paper are outside the scope of the journal. The journal publishes research and review articles. It does not accept articles prepared in different genres. The journal does not accept papers whose full text has been published at any meeting (congress, symposium, workshop, etc.). The journal only accepts articles written in Turkish and English. The journal publishes two issues yearly: the last week of June and the last week of December. Articles with a similarity rate of 25% or more are not accepted. The article must be prepared according to the word template, and the copyright transfer form must be downloaded from the journal page. Manuscripts are evaluated with a double-blind peer review process.

The journal is an open-access, international, peer-reviewed journal.
