Plywood is one of the oldest known engineered wood materials. Film-faced plywood is successfully used in the construction of reinforced concrete structures and in the preparation of formwork. In this study, changes in some mechanical properties of film-faced plywood were investigated when moisture content increases. For this purpose, 2 groups of test samples were prepared from film-faced plywood. The first of these groups was tested in air dry moisture content, and the second group was tested in wet condition. Air-dry density, moisture percentage, bending strength, modulus of elasticity in bending, nail holding resistance of test samples was determined. T test was used to determine whether there was a significant difference between the groups according to the data obtained. According to the bending strength and modulus of elasticity data, it has been determined that moisture content has a statistically significant effect on mechanical performance. Load-deformation graphs were created with the load and deformation data obtained during the bending tests. In addition, the maximum deformation values obtained at the end of the bending test were also determined. According to the data obtained; as the moisture content of the film-faced plywood increases, the bending strength and modulus of elasticity decrease, but the maximum deformation in bending test increases.
