Haber Çerçeveleme: Kuram ve Tipoloji

Abstract

Medya analizinde çerçeveleme kavramının giderek artan popülerliği, uygulamadaki önemli tutarsızlıklarla el ele gitmektedir. Bu makale, üretim, içerik ve medyakullanımı perspektiflerini kapsayan bütünleşik süreç modeli olarak çerçeveleme’ninana hatlarını ortaya koymaktadır. Medya çerçeveleri üzerine yapılmış çalışmalardan hareketle genel ve konuya özgü çerçeveler için bir tipoloji önerilmektedir. Haberlerdeki genel çerçevelerin nasıl belirlenebileceği ve haber içeriğindeülkelerarası farklılıkların anlaşılması için nasıl kullanılabileceği konusunda bir örnekverilmiştir. Makale, mevcut çerçeveleme araştırmalarındaki tartışmalı konuların belirlenmesiyle sonuçlandırılmıştır
