Noninvazif Mekanik Ventilasyon

Abstract

Yoğun Bakım Ünitesine yatırılan hastalarda solunum yetmezliği sık karşılaşılan bir klinik sorundur. Bu hastaların medikal tedavinin etkisi başlayıncaya kadar solunum desteğine gereksinmeleri vardır. Pozitif basınçlı ventilasyon bu hastalarda destek için kullanılır. Noninvazif mekanik ventilasyonda (NIMV) mekanik ventilasyon desteği hastaya yüze uygulanan bir maske aracılığı ile verilirken, invazif mekanik ventilasyonda (IMV) entübasyon tüpü aracılığı ile verilir. Destek derecesi aynı olmakla birlikte komplikasyon oranları NIMV’da IMV’a göre daha düşüktür.
