Abstract
Yabancı cisim reaksiyonu, granülom oluşumu ile seyreden kronik inflamasyondur. Cerrahi girişimlerden
aylar veya yıllar sonra klinik semptoma sebep olabilen yabancı cisim reaksiyonları bildirilmiştir. Bu olgu
sunumunda daha önce uygulan kraniyotomi sırasında unutulan cerrahi pamuk pedin, meningiom nüksü
düşünülerek hastanın kraniyotomi ameliyatına neden olması bildirilmektedir. Bu olgu sunumunda çok nadir
olmasına karşın daha önce intrakraniyal tümör nedeniyle ameliyat olan hastalarda yabancı cisim
reaksiyonuna bağlı granülom oluşumunun görüntüleme yöntemleri ile tümör nüksü imajı verebileceğinin
önemi vurgulanmıştır.
