Cranial fasciitis is a fibroblastic tumor like lesion that was first reported by Lauer and Enzinger in 1980. It is mostly seen in childhood, and typically it originates from the soft tissue of skull and frequently causes bone destruction.
In this report, findings of a 6-month-old male infant who has been operated for an intra-extracranial left temporoparietal mass lesion that was histopathologically confirmed as cranial fasciitis, were evaluated under the light of literature.
