TAMSULOSİN KULLANIMINA BAĞLI OLARAK GELİŞEN İNTRAOPERATİF FLOPPY İRİS SENDROMU (İFİS): ÜROLOJİK YAKLAŞIM

Abstract

İntraoperatif floppy iris sendromu(İFİS) benign prostat hiperplazisi nedeniyle tamsulosin kullanan ve katarakt cerrahisi uygulanan hastalarda tanımlanmış yeni bir sendromdur. Bu sendrom gevşek iris, kornea kesi giriş yerlerinden sürekli prolobe olmaya eğilimi olan iris ve operasyon sırasında ani ve progresif pupiller miyozis gelişmesi ile karakterizedir. Bütün bu durumlar intraoperatif komplikasyon gelişme riskini arttırmaktadır. Cerrahi sırasında oluşabilecek komplikasyonları azaltmak için hastanın halen yada geçmişte alfa-1 bloker kullanıp kullanmadığı göz hastalıkları uzmanı tarafından bilinmelidir. Üroloji uzmanı alfa-1 bloker yazma alışkanlığını değiştirmemeli. Bununla birlikte, bir selektif alfa-1 bloker reçetelenirken hastada katarakt olup olmadığı ve cerrahi planlanlanıp planlanmadığı göz önünde bulundurmalıdır.
