Leno weavings are fabrics that are obtained by cross movements of warp yarns and that have a considerably solid structure although they are loosely woven. Leno heald assemblies are used in forming the leno weavings. LENO DOKUMA SİSTEMİ, KUMAŞ ÖZELLİKLERİ VE KULLANIM ALANLARI

Öz

Leno dokumalar, çözgü ipliklerinin çapraz hareket etmesi ile elde edilen, seyrek dokunmuş olmalarına karşın oldukça sağlam yapıda olan kumaşlardır. Leno dokumaları oluşturmak için döner gücü tertibatları kullanılır. Bu çalışmada; kumaş yüzeyinde ve dokuma kumaş kenar yapılarında kullanılan leno dokuma çeşitleri, üretim teknikleri, özellikleri ve kullanım alanları incelenmiştir.
