Abstract

Hydrogen sulphide (H2S) is a colourless, flammable and highly toxic gas. Emissions of hydrogen sulphide by industrial activities are frequent cause of corrosion and unpleasant odours. It can cause injury to the central nervous system even at low doses. HS removal from biogas is treated via physicochemical and biotechnological methods. In this review, H2S removal from biogas by physicochemical and biotechnological methods is summarized
