Influences of Designs with Golden Ratio on Human Perception
Abstract
The golden ratio had been used since the beginning of the history by many artists. The investigators had indicated that the
golden ratio was not used only in artworks but also in lots of living organism structures in nature already. In the case of
investigate of human body alone, it can be seen that lots of organs of human body have golden ratio. The golden ratio has
been used in designs by artists like used before. While geometric shapes, patterns have been designing according to golden
ratio, the producing of the industrial designs also has the same ratio. The main subject of this paper is that the cause of
fame of the golden ratio which is coming from the beginning of history. Does the golden ratio have won to natural view to
the designs? In paper the awareness of golden ratio and preference of designs which have various lines, shapes and
pictures to others will be tested by survey. In this survey, the designs which have golden ratio and other designs present to
people assessment, preference ratios were evaluated and indicated by graphs. And also the ideas of people, join the survey,
were taken and classified. The survey has visual designs, lines, shapes and pictures etc.. The data was evaluated by
statistical methods and also the other opinions and ideas were added to the paper conclusion.
