Abstract
Despite the fact that two years has passed since the coronavirus epidemic, which started to show itself at a time when global growth figures declined and there were trade wars, the impact of the damage it caused on countries and sectors still continues. Under these conditions, the construction sector of Turkey, like many other countries and sectors, is undoubtedly adversely affected by the epidemic conditions. In this context, the financial information of nine companies operating in the province of Ankara, seven of which are small and two of which are medium-sized companies, is analyzed. The aim of the study is to compare and interpret the financial data of 2019 compared to 2020, when the Covid-19 epidemic affected the world, in construction companies.
