Abstract

Hawaii Church College‟a 1964‟de katılan Delwyn G. Berrett, 10 sene sonra 12. Mc Key konferansını verdi. Birmingham Young Üniversitesinden mezun olan Berrett, 1958‟de aynı üniversitede Yüksek Lisansını tamamlayarak 1962‟de Luisiana Üniversitesi Zooloji Bölümünde doktorasını vermiştir. Omurgalı canlılara olan merakı müdürlüğü süresince fakültenin doğa bilimleri koleksiyonunun bir hayli büyümesine neden olmuştur. 1970 yılında Doğa Bilimleri Vakfı‟ndan burs alarak Porto Rico‟ya giden Berrett aktif bir araştırmacı ve bilim adamıdır. Kilisedeki diğer görevleri arasında izci liderliği ve misyonerlik vardır. Karısı Francis ile 5 çocuğu bulunmaktadır: Ross, William, Leilani, Laura, ve John
