Pregnancy Induced Coombs’ Negative Hemolytic Anemia

Year 2000, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 43 - 45, 01.04.2000

Abstract

Hemolytic anemia associated with pregnancy is a rare and usually Coombs’ test (direct antiglobulin test=DAT) is negative. In this paper we presented a woman who had DAT negative hemolytic anemia during the second pregnancy. In patient hemolysis was controlled with steroid therapy.
