Time perception of postmodernism is not Chronologic.Although It’s eyes look back to the past, Postmodernism is together with today’s life routines.As the phenomenon nostalgy is remembered with affirmation and longing, it’s samples in pictures and television dominates Turkish popular music community in recent years.Especially the turkish pop songs released in 1970’s draw more interest in todays world than their own age. Eventually, this interest have brought success in the dead fields of music. The very first examples of recording technology, phonograph record, gramophone, pickup, the radio programs and albums contain the songs of 1970’s and 1980’s are followed eagerly. As a matter of fact, besides the adults who have experienced those years, many of the followers are the youngsters who were born after those ages had passed
ÖZET
Postmodernizmin zaman algısı kronolojik sıraya göre ilerlemez. Yüzü geçmişe dönük ve bir o kadar da bugünün yaşam pratiğiyle bir aradadır. Nostalji olgusu olumlama ve özlemle hatırlanırken son yıllarda sinema ve televizyondaki örnekler Türk popüler müzik dünyasını da etkisi altına almaktadır. Özellikle 1970’ler ve devamında yapılan Türkçe sözlü hafif batı müziği türü şarkıları, bugün döneminde gördüğü ilgiden fazlasını görmektedir. Bu ilgi müziğin unutulmuş alanlarına ticari başarı getirmektedir. Kayıt teknolojisinin ilk ürünleri olan plak, gromofon, pikap, içinde 1970’li-80’li yıllara ait şarkıların yer aldığı albümler ve radyo programları, temalı partiler ilgiyle takip edilmektedir. Üstelik, o günlerle ilgili kişisel deneyimi olan yetişikinlerin yanısıra dinleyicilerin büyük çoğunluğunu genç kitle oluşturmaktadır.
