Abstract

36 year old female patient with complaints of pain in the left eye due to Behcet's disease was introduced. After 15 years left visual acuity was at the level of hand motions detection. Left anterior synechiae was widely viewed. 40 prism diopters buphthalmos exodeviation and optic atrophy of his pseudophakic left eye were present. Intraocular pressures: 18 mmHg on the right, 65 mmHg on the left. The patient did not have active uveitis, but had glaucoma in her left eye and shunt-implantation was made. 6 months after the procedure, the intraocular pressure was measured 20 mm Hg and the anterior chamber reaction was not observed on follow-up. Glaucoma secondary to uveitis Ex-Press shunt implantation in the treatment of surgical options should be considered

Üveite Sekonder Gelişen Glokomda EXPRESS Mini Glokom Şantı Uygulaması

Öz

ÖZET:

36 yaşında kadın hasta, sol gözde ağrı şikayetiyle başvurdu.15 yıldır Behçet hastalığı nedeniyle takip edilen hastanın sol görme keskinliği el hareketi düzeyindeydi. Sol yaygın anterior sineşi izlendi. Pseudofak ve buftalmus olan sol gözde 40 prizm diyoptri exodeviasyon ve optik atrofi mevcuttu. Göz içi basıncı sağ:18 mmhg, sol:65 mmhg ölçüldü. Aktif üveiti olmayan hastanın sol gözüne glokom tanısıyla ex-press glokom şantimplantasyonu yapıldı. İşlem sonrası 6. ay kontrolünde göz içi basıncı20 mmhg olarak ölçüldü ve hiçbir takibinde ön kamara reaksiyonu izlenmedi. Üveite sekonder glokom tedavisinde ex-press şant implantasyonu da cerrahi seçenekler arasında göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır.
