His article addresses the concept of “gender” representations in the online environment. Today, the internet has become a significant resource for acquiring information, much like dictionaries and encyclopedias. The information presented on the internet manifests in three forms: written, verbal, and visual. Individuals can access the internet at any time of the day and obtain highly diverse information. This article examines the results obtained from online data related to the keyword “gender” as part of the information acquisition process. A purposive sampling method was employed in the research, selecting 45 results focused on the theme of gender out of 442 results retrieved using the “gender” keyword. The data obtained were analyzed using content analysis methods. The findings reveal that Kazakh readers encounter over twenty gender-specific topics online and gain access to information exceeding the themes highlighted in Kazakhstan’s “Gender Equality Strategy Document.” In conclusion, while information related to biological gender and medical education is limited but clear, easily accessible, and supported by visuals, data within the framework of gender and social gender entries—such as femininity, masculinity, gender discrimination, gender-specific behaviors, and women’s rights in legal and political contexts—are more abundant yet disorganized. Topics like violence against women and gender discrimination are presented in a complex and scattered manner, requiring readers to invest more effort to access the desired information related to gender issues.
