Political Activities in the Constitutional Biography of Mehmet Akif Ersoy from Constitutional Period to the Republic
Abstract
Mehmed Akif Ersoy is a person who has carried out various literary, intellectual and political studies with his identity as a poet and an enthusiast during a period when the Ottoman Empire broke up as of the time he was born and raised. The literary aspect of Mehmed Akif has been the subject of many scientific researches, but his political biography, political orientations, and political concepts in his intellectual biography and works have been the subject of very few studies. This article was written to address both the political biography of Mehmed Akif Ersoy and the basic meanings Mehmed Akif attributed to political concepts in his intellectual and literary products.
