Mimarca magazine, published by the KTMMOB Chamber of Architects, has been covering issues related to architecture and urbanization in Cyprus since 1989, aiming to contribute to both theoretical and practical discussions.
As an architecture magazine led by academics, researchers, and designers, Mimarca welcomes contributions from all actors in the field of architecture, across various levels and platforms, and values their active participation. It strives to be an inclusive platform where critical perspectives are encouraged and intellectual engagement with architectural literature is supported. To reach a broader audience, one of Mimarca’s primary goals in the upcoming period is to bring Turkish Cypriot architecture to international platforms by being included in global academic databases. In line with this objective, starting from Issue 83, scientific articles published in Mimarca are reviewed by the editorial board and invited referees.
