Journal of Migration and Political Studies (MIPOS), founded by Sakarya University, Research Center for Diaspora Studies (DIAM) in 2022; It is an international refereed journal that aims to publish objective studies that contribute to the scientific literature at the international level by criticizing different topics through various branches and disciplines of social sciences in each issue. Since its establishment in 2015, DIAM has been focusing on phenomena such as human rights, Islamophobia, Turkophobia, and discrimination in the context of studies on the Turkish Diaspora and conducts studies focusing on the phenomenon of migration that gave birth to the diaspora. In this context, DİAM monitors and reports the problems and rights violations faced by the Turkish diaspora in the countries they live in, draws attention to these problems, and offers solutions through academic publications. Aiming to contribute to literary production and literature on diaspora and migration issues, DİAM also aims to raise public awareness of these issues through its activities and publications. From this perspective, the Journal of Migration and Political Studies seeks to open a new field for qualified academic studies on current phenomena in international relations, sociology, politics, economics, and international law by adopting an interdisciplinary perspective.
