Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary and Life Sciences (MJAVL) started its publication life in 2013 and has continued its publication life as 2 issues per year without interruption.


Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary and Life Sciences (MJAVL) accepts research articles on-line with the Open Journal System (OJS) and offers them to the stakeholders with unlimited accessibility of the articles in all issues. As it is known, Open Journal Systems increase the impact level of articles by providing more qualified viewing opportunities to all readers on a national and international scale compared to subscription and distribution systems. OJS systems are also easily available to researchers in terms of indexing, re-access, free access, duplication.


Our journal, which accepts articles at national and international level, tries to fulfill the necessary conditions to be scanned in various internationally accepted field indexes and to be included in the TR-Dizin. Our journal, which will continue on its way within the framework of scientific and ethical rules in its next publication life, will provide you, our esteemed scientists and readers, scientific research written in Turkish, English, Kyrgyz and Russian; The article will continue to be published as a note to the editor, review and research note.


The citations to be made by researchers to the articles published in our journal are very important for our journals to be scanned and accepted by national and international indexes.

Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary and Life Sciences (MJAVL) is an international refereed journal and publishes original, new and original research articles with scientific value in all fields related to Agriculture, Veterinary and Life Sciences.

Manuscript preparation

Manuscript should include Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, (Results and Discussion may be combined), Acknowledgments if necessary, References. 


Title

Title should be concise and informative. The name(s) of the author(s), the affiliation(s) and address(es) of the author(s) and e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author should be given under title


 

Abstract

The abstract should be between 150-250 words and should not contain undefined abbreviations. Abstract should be given in English other than the written language.

 

Keywords

A list of keywords (not more than 6 words) should be included.

 

Text  

Text should be submitted in MS Word format using the font Times (New) Roman with a size of 12 point with double space for all material, including notes and references. Pages should be justified and margins should be 3 cm from each side. All pages should be numbered consecutively, and lines should also be numbered within each page. Tables and Figures should be included in the text. File should be saved in doc format. Do not submit docx files.

 

Abbreviations

Only standard metric abbreviations should be used, and abbreviations should be defined at first mention and used consistently thereafter.

 

SI units, numbers

Internationally accepted signs and symbols for units, SI units, should be used

Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments of people, granting institutions etc should be placed before the reference list

 

References

The only works that are cited in the text and that have been published or accepted for publication should be placed in the reference list

 

 

 

Citation in text

References should be cited in the text by name and year in parentheses. (Carey 1993), (Houck and Strauss 1985), (Lou 1987; Meyer et al. 1986; Chi and Liu 1985)

References should be listed in alphabetical order.

STATEMENT OF EDITORIAL ETHICS



EDITORS' RESPONSIBILITIES




1. Decision on Publication and Responsibility


The head and field editors of the Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL) are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted for publication should be published in accordance with the journal's purpose and publication policies. The editors are also responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal are subject to legal requirements related to copyright infringement and plagiarism. The Editor is responsible for the content of the journal and the quality of the publication and in this context has the right to negotiate with the arbiters while making the decision of publication. The editor should provide a fair and equitable arbitration and evaluation process. The editor of the Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL) should strive to meet the needs of readers and writers.




2. Conflict of Interest


The head and field editors of Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL) should not allow the author(s) to use the unpublished material and other information and data in the texts submitted to the journal by the author(s) in their own work without the express written permission of the author(s).




3. Neutrality


The articles sent to the Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL) should always be evaluated in accordance with clear, transparent, scientific and objective criteria without any prejudice. The texts should be evaluated only within the framework of their intellectual and scientific values, regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, nationality and political opinion of the authors.




4. Confidentiality


The chief editor, the assistant editor, the field editors and the editorial board should not disclose information about the submitted texts to anyone other than the author (s), reviewers, and the publisher. Any information relating to the article submitted to the journal should not be disclosed by the editor to anyone other than the editors, reviewers and the owner of the journal.



REFEREE RESPONSIBILITIES





1. Process Acceleration


The referee who considers the work assigned to him be not in his field, who considers himself insufficient for its criticism or who cannot timely present criticism, should leave the post of referee, informing the editor about his situation.




2. Confidentiality





The texts included in the review should be classified as confidential documents and should not be shown to anyone other than those authorized by the editor and should not be discussed about the articles. Privileged information and ideas obtained during the arbitration process should be kept confidential and should not be used for self-interest.




3. Neutrality


Referee reviews should be made in accordance with objective, fair and scientific ethics. No personal criticism should be directed against the author. The referees should evaluate the works regardless of their origin, gender, sexual orientation or political philosophy. The referees should also provide a fair blind arbitration process for the evaluation of the texts submitted to the journal. The referees must express their ideas with arguments that clearly support them.




4. Statement of Resources


The referees should define the published works not mentioned by the author. The referee should also bring to the attention of the editor a significant similarity or overlap between the assessed work and any previously published work within its knowledge.




5. Conflict of Interest


Referees should not consider the work of the author for any conflicts of interest that may arise due to competition, cooperation or otherwise. There should be no conflict of interest with parties such as referees, writers, sponsors, editors, etc.




6. Editor support


The referees should help the editors in the decision-making process and also be able to assist the authors in improving the texts.




AUTHORS’ RESPONSIBILITIES




1. Reporting Standards


A study submitted to the Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL) must be original and authors should undertake that the text is original work not previously published in any journal. The data used in the study should be presented meticulously in the study. A study should include sufficient detail and resource information. Fraudulent and deliberate misconceptions are unacceptable because they can lead to unethical situations. In addition, the authors should strictly follow the rules of the journal. In this context, the author should perform the changes requested by the arbitrator, the field editor and the chief editorin timely and in meticulous manner. Any changes in the information, documents and articles requested by the editor(s) should be made by author(s) no later than 15 days, after that the editor should be informed. In the case that the above requests are not met, the author (s) should be considered as having withdrawn the article.




2. Data Access and Data Retention


The authors may be required to submit relevant raw data which may be needed in the evaluation phase in connection with their work, so they should be ready to provide access to this data and keep this data for a reasonable period of time following the publication of their work.







3. Originality and Plagiarism


Authors should write completely original worksheets and if they use others' works and / or words, they should quote them accordingly. By submitting articles to the Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL), the authors guarantee that their articles are original and met the requirements of ethical standards, that the references used are cited in full, and not similar to other articles that are published or in publish process. In this context, the authors must upload their works, that are checked by plagiarism detection software and have a maximum similarity of 30% including a bibliography, via Dergipark System of Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL).




4. Publication in Multiple Places


In general, an author should not publish the text describing the same research in more than one article. It is unacceptable to submit the same work text to more than one journal at the same time.




5. Statement of Resources


The statement of resources from other people should always be made appropriately. The authors have to quote the previous publications affecting the basis of their work.




6. Writing a study


Authorship should be limited to people who make a meaningful contribution to the concept, design, implementation or interpretation of the reported study. All major contributors should be listed following the first author. If there are persons involved in various aspects of the research project, they should be declared or listed as contributors. Authorship should also include a writer who is in charge of correspondence with the editor of the journal. The correspondent in charge must ensure that all co-authors are included in the article.




7. Disclosure and Conflict of Interest


All authors are obliged to declare any financial or conflict of interest that may affect the results or issue of their work.




8. Basic Mistakes in Published Works


If a writer discovers a material misstatement or flaw in his published work, it is the author's responsibility to report this situation to the journal editor immediately and to cooperate with the editor for the correction of the present error or mistake. Since Manas Journal of Agriculture Veterinary And Life Sciences (MJAVL) is published on the dergipark system, such change requests must be made within 5 days from the date of publication of the journal. Authors have a duty to work with the editor to correct mistakes.
