LİSANSÜSTÜ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN SOSYAL İLİŞKİLER AĞI GELİŞTİRME DAVRANIŞLARININ BELİRLENMESİNE YÖNELİK NİTEL BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Sosyalleşmek, günümüzün toplumsal
yapısı ve çalışma koşullarının gösterdiği değişim ve gelişim neticesinde
gerekli bir unsur halini almıştır. Bu anlamda hayatın her alanında sosyal
ilişkiler kurmak ve bu ilişkileri sürdürebilir kılmak gerekmektedir. Literatürde
sosyal ilişkiler ağı geliştirme davranışı sosyal sermaye kavramı ile
ilişkilendirilmekle beraber örgütsel, yönetimsel, motivasyonel ve kariyer
alanında katkı sağlayan bir kavram olarak değerlendirilmiş ve sonuçları
üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu bağlamda çalışma kapsamında lisansüstü öğrencilerinin
sosyal ilişkiler ağı geliştirme davranışı sergilemelerinin nedenleri üzerinde
durulması ve ulaşılan sonuçların bir model dahilinde sunulması amaçlanmaktadır.
Araştırma amacı kapsamında bir akademik örgütte öğrenimine devam etmekte olan
lisansüstü öğrencileri ile; cinsiyet, yaş, çalışma durumu ve medeni durum gibi
farklı kriteler esas alınarak, 24
yapılandırılmış soru formu kullanılarak, mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir.
Mülakatlardan elde edilen veriler MAXQDA nitel veri
analizi programı
kullanılarak kodlanmış
ve kategorize edilmiştir. Kodların ve kategorilerin görselleştirilmesinde
frekans analizi, karşılaştırmalı analiz ve ilişki analizlerinden
yararlanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre sosyal ilişki ağı geliştirme
davranışını etkileyen faktörlere yönelik olarak sosyal faktörler, çevresel
faktörler, bireysel faktörler ve kariyere yönelik faktörler olmak üzere 4 ana
tema belirlenmiştir.
Araştırmanın amacı kapsamında Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Sosyal
Bilimler Enstitüsü içinde yer alan programlardan Siyasal Bilgiler Fakültesi
İşletme Anabilim Dalı’na bağlı programlardaki lisansüstü ve doktora
öğrencileri örneklem kapsamına alınmıştır.
