Sinema ve Resim Bağlamında Ekspresyonist İmgede Dehşet ve Izdırap Temaları

Abstract

Ekspresyonizm, XX. yüzyıl insanının karşı karşıya kaldığı büyük toplumsal ve sarsıcı dönüşüme dair kaygılarını yansıtan bir estetik dil ve sanatsal tavırdır. Bu dil ve tavır, insan hayatına dair çoklukla karanlık addedilen konu ve temalar üzerinde sıklıkla durmuştur; bunların arasında kaygı, sıkıntı ve huzursuzluk önemli bir yer tutar. Bazı Ekspresyonist sanatçılarsa, özellikle I. Dünya Savaşı ile birlikte, savaşın son derece somut sonuçlarından olan dehşet ve teması üzerinde durmaktadır. Bu metin, Ekspresyonist imgenin bahsedilen temaları ele alışını, hem resim ve hem de sinema alanından seçilmiş örneklerle ele almaktadır.
