Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Ateş completed his undergraduate studies at the Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Theology in 2009. Following his graduation, he attended the Selçuk Religious High Specialization Center as a 22nd Term Specialized Trainee for professional expertise training and was appointed as a Research Assistant at Kütahya Dumlupınar University in 2013.
Between 2014 and 2017, Mustafa Ateş served as a Research Assistant at Uludağ University Faculty of Theology while conducting his graduate research at the Bursa Uludağ University Institute of Social Sciences. He obtained his Master’s degree in 2015 with a thesis titled " A research on the books of usûl al-fiqh in Bursa Inebey Library" and earned his PhD in 2019 with his dissertation titled " Late Ottoman Jurist Ibn ʿĀbidīn's Understanding of Islamic Law (The case of Radd al-Muḥtār)."
In 2019, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Law at Kütahya Dumlupınar University, Faculty of Islamic Sciences, and attained the title of Associate Professor in 2023. During his tenure at Dumlupınar University, he held several administrative roles, including Head of the Department of Islamic Law (2019–2024), Vice Dean (2020–2024), Vice Director of the Islamic Civilization Application and Research Center (DIMAM) (2020–2024), and Member of the Rectorate Education and Teaching Commission (2023–2024).
As of February 14, 2024, Mustafa Ateş joined the Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Theology, Department of Islamic Law, as a faculty member. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences and as a member of the Unit Quality Commission. Additionally, he is a Board Member of the Bursa Uludağ University Islamic Economics and Finance Application and Research Center (BUIMER). Alongside undergraduate and graduate courses in Islamic Law, he conducts graduate-level lectures and provides thesis supervision in the interdisciplinary field of Islamic Economics and Participation Banking. His academic research interests focus on the theories of taqlid (imitation) and ijtihad (independent reasoning) in the Hanafi school, intra-madhhab dynamics, legal practice in the Ottoman era, and Islamic economics.

Arapça ve İngilizce bilmektedir.
Khairunnisa Musari is an associate professor at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) & Postgraduate Program, Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq (UIN KHAS), Jember, Indonesia. She is the secretary of the Indonesian Association of Islamic Economists (IAEI) for the Provincial Board of East Java. Her research interests are in sukuk, waqf, esham, fiscal & monetary policies, circular economy, halal logistics, sustainable finance, climate change, and Islamic microfinance & nanofinance. She has several book chapters with internationally reputable publishers such as IGI Global, Emerald Publishing Limited, World Scientific Publishing, Routledge, Springer, and Palgrave Macmillan. She has experience as a senior specialist for Islamic finance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Indonesia and was listed as one of the Top 300 Most Influential Women in Islamic Business & Finance 2019, 2020, 2021, WOMANi Significancica 2022, and WOMANi Academica 2023, 2024, by Cambridge-IFA.
