Abstract
Bu çalışmada; dünyanın yüzölçümü bakımından en büyük Türk devleti olan Saha (Yakut) Cumhuriyeti’nin fiziki, beşeri ve ekonomik coğrafya özellikleri irdelenerek cumhuriyetin coğrafi özellikleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ülkeler coğrafyası penceresinden bakılarak Yakutistan’a has olan doğal, iktisadi, sosyal ve demografik özelliklerin ortaya konulduğu bu makale ile Yakutistan’ın ülke kimlik kartı resmedilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Makalenin yazım amacı az tanınan bu ülke ile ilgili Rusça ve Türkçe olan dağınık bilgileri derleyip toplayıp, bir cumhuriyet analizi denemesi oluşturmak ve bu ülkeyi Türk okuyucularına tanıtmaktır. Zengin doğal kaynaklara sahip ve ekonomik geleceği parlak bir ülke olan Yakutistan’ın, sahip olduğu doğal kaynakları işleyecek ve ekonomik kalkınmayı gerçekleştirecek gerekli beşeri potansiyelden yoksun olduğunun vurgulanması bu makalenin sonuçlarından biridir.
Abstract
Within this paper, physical, human and economic properties of Saha (Yakut) Republic, one of the largest states on earth with regard to its area, are studied and the geographical identity portrait of the republic is drawn. Natural, economical, social and demographical properties of the Republic are described from the perspective of territorial geography and thus the identity this Turkish Republic on earth is depicted herein. The purpose of this article is to compile the messy information about this unknown country in Turkish and Russian languages and to introduce this country to the Turkish readers by forming a Republic analysis thereof. It is only one of the conclusions of this article that Yakut Republic has rich natural resources, has a bright economical future but lacks the required human potential to process these rich resources in order to perform an economical improvement.
