Abstract
Utopia/Dystopia: Conditions of Historical Possibility does not focus on the concepts of utopia and dystopia themselves but considers them as tools to be used in historical studies. The editors of the book argue that certain utopian thoughts and actions can be a means of discovering the historical conditions that made their emergence possible. However, a certain understanding of the concepts of utopia/dystopia is implicit in these historical studies. This review aims to explore Utopia/Dystopia through the distinction between the ordinary and original meanings of the concepts.

Abstract
Ütopya/Distopya: Tarihsel Olasılığın Koşulları, ütopya ve distopya kavramlarının kendilerine odaklanmak yerine onları tarih incelemelerinde kullanılacak araçlar olarak ele alıyor. Kitabın editörlerine göre belirli ütopyacı düşünüş ve eylemler, onların oluşumunu mümkün kılan tarihsel koşulları keşfetmenin aracı olabilir. Ancak bu tarihsel incelemeler ütopya ve distopya kavramlarına dair belirli bir anlayışı içerir. Bu yazı, kavramların sıradan ve özgün anlamları arasındaki ayrım üzerinden Ütopya/Distopya kitabını değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
