İnternet Ortamındaki Şeffaf Plak Tedavisi ile İlgili Bilgilerin Okunabilirlik Analizi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı internet ortamındaki şeffaf plak tedavisi ile ilgili bilgilerin okunabilirlik analizini yapmaktır.
Gereç ve Yöntemler : ‘Şeffaf plak’ terimi kullanılarak şeffaf plak ile ilgili metinlere ulaşmak amacıyla internet araması yapıldı. Arama motoru olarak Google kullanıldı ve ilk 50 web sitesi kaydedildi. Hasta bilgilendirme ve eğitimi ile ilgili Türkçe metinler dahil edildi. Metin kaynakları diş hekimi, ortodontist, özel sağlık kuruluşu, üniversite hastanesi ve gazete olacak şekilde kaydedildi. Her bir metin için Ateşman okunabilirlik indeksine göre ve online okunabilirlik aracı vasıtasıyla okunabilirlik analizi yapıldı. İstatistiksel değerlendirmede Kolmogorov–Smirnov testi ve betimleyici istatistikler kullanıldı. p<0,05 istatistiksel olarak anlamlı kabul edildi.
Bulgular: 50 web sitesinin 46’sı dahil edilme kriterlerini karşıladı. Bunlar metin kaynağına göre en çok özel sağlık kuruluşları (%63) tarafından oluşmaktaydı ve bunu ortodontistler (%15,2), diş hekimleri (%10,9), gazeteler (%6,5) ve üniversite hastaneleri (%4,3) izledi. Ortalama Ateşman okunabilirlik indeksi 59,32±8,59’du. Değerlendirilen metinlerin %89,1’i orta düzeyde okuma zorluğundaydı.
Sonuç: Bu çalışmanın limitasyonları dahilinde, internet ortamında şeffaf plaklarla ilgili metinlerin okunabilirliğinin orta zorlukta olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Yazılı hasta bilgilendirme ve eğitim metinleri yayınlanmadan önce daha kolay okunabilmesi için okunabilirlik araçlarından faydalanılabilir.
