Journal of Quantitative Sciences (Nicel Bilimler Dergisi (NBD)) is an internationally peer-reviewed academic journal established in 2019 under the institutional supervision and administrative responsibility of the Statistics Consulting Application and Research Center (ESİMER) at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. The journal is published biannually, in June and December respectively, disseminating scholarly works in both Turkish and English. NBD is indexed in TR Dizin ULAKBİM, the nationally recognized academic indexing and abstracting database.
The primary objective of the journal is to provide substantial and original contributions to the advancement of quantitative science disciplines at both national and international levels. Accordingly, NBD pursues an interdisciplinary editorial policy encompassing the domains of natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, and health sciences, with particular emphasis on the application of statistical methodologies. The publication scope of the journal includes theoretical and applied research conducted across the fundamental sub-disciplines of statistics, namely statistical theory, applied statistics, statistical information systems, operations research, and risk analysis.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a rigorous preliminary screening process, upon successful completion of which they are subject to independent scientific evaluation by a minimum of two referees in accordance with the double-blind peer review principle. NBD is committed to an open-access and non-profit publication model; no royalty fees are remunerated to authors upon acceptance of their works, nor are article processing charges (APC) levied upon authors or their affiliated institutions at any stage of the editorial process.
