A QUALĠTATIVE SEARCH, BASED ON VILLAGE INSTITUTE GRADUATES’ OPINIONS, INTO THE COMMUNICATIOIN BETWEEN STUDENT AND TEACHER AS WELL AS STUDENT AND ADMINISTRATOR
Abstract
This qualitative study was performed through mutual negotiations with village institute graduates (n=50) within Aegean Region, including Aydyn, Yzmir, Mu?la and Denizli. The data was obtained through semi-structured appointment forms which were developed by research. Then, the data obtained from the appointments was transmitted into the computer and was read line by line. In this stage, some codes were made up and related codes were brought into groups to detect the target themes. Concerning âthe student to relationsâ the following codes were structured: (a) the sincerity in boy and girl affairs, (b) cooperation with friends and establishing sincere affairs, (c) criticing the friends. Bringing these codes together, the theme named as âhigh qualified student relationsâ was established. On the other hand, concerning âthe teacher to student's relationsâ, the following codes were structured: (a) establishing close relations of the teacher with his/her students, (b) getting the teacher's support during the learning period, (c) the teacher's assistant in the student's problem. These codes were brought together related to each other and established a theme of âpositive teacher-student relationsâ. Concerning the administrator to student relation, the following codes were structured: (a) training on democracy, (b) warm relations of administrators with students. Bringing those codes together, the theme named as âdemocratic managementâ was established.
KÖY ENSTĠTÜSÜ MEZUNLARININ GÖRÜġLERĠNE GÖRE KÖY ENSTĠTÜLERĠNDE ÖĞRENCĠ-ÖĞRENCĠ, ÖĞRENCĠ- ÖĞRETMEN VE ÖĞRENCĠ-YÖNETĠCĠ ĠLETĠġĠMĠNE ĠLĠġKĠN NĠTEL BĠR ARAġTIRMA
Abstract
Bu nitel çalısma Ege Bölgesinin, Aydın, İzmir, Muğla ve Denizli illerinde yaşayan Köy Enstitüleri mezunlarıyla (n=50) yapılan görüşmeler kapsamında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilmiştir. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmış ve satır satır okunmuştur. Bu aşamada kodlar oluşturulmuş, birbiri ile ilgili kodlar bir araya getirilerek temalar belirlenmiştir. Öğrenci-öğrenci ilişkilerine yönelik olarak kız erkek ilişkilerindeki samimiyet, (b) arkadaşlarla yardymlaşma ve samimi ilişki kurma ve (c) arkadaşları eleştirme kodları belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen bu kodlar bir araya getirilerek yüksek nitelikli öğrenci ilişkisi teması oluşturulmuştur. Öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkilerine yönelik olarak (a) Öğretmenin öğrenciyle yakın ilişki içerisinde olması, (b) öğretmenden öğrenme sürecine ilişkin yardım alma ve (c) öğretmenin öğrencinin problemini çözmede yardımcı olması kodlarına ulaşılmıştır. Bu kodlar birbiri ile ilişkili bir şekilde bir araya getirilerek olumlu öğretmen-öğrenci ilişkisi teması oluşturulmuştur. Yönetici-öğrenci ilişkilerine yönelik olarak (a) demokrasi eğitimi ve (b) yöneticilerin öğrencilere sıcak yaklaşım içinde olması kodları belirlenmiştir. Bu kodlar bir araya getirilerek demokratik yönetim temasına ulaşılmıştır
