The purpose of this research is to evaluate the attitudes of the teacher candidates in the primary school teaching department about gender roles from the point of gender variable. In the research which is descriptive survey method, gender role attitudes scale developed by Zeynelo?lu (2008) has been used as data collection tool. While scale items were being interpreted, the frequencies (f) of responses to the items were examined. The Independent Sample t Test was applied to calculate if arithmetic averages show difference for teacher candidates from independent variables to gender.
