Principalship as a unique branch of educational administration has long been ignored one of the basic strata of management. It is not possible to say that there are standarts of appointment and promotion of school administration since educational administration hasn't been institutionalized and became a unique branch of management. Being a teacher is basic pre-requirement in order to be a school administrator. People can easily be transferred to administrative position from teaching after a simple test or a few years of teaching experience or merely appointment of the ministry of education. The amendments conducted after 1990 has generally set the standarts of being a teacher or having passed selection exam as pre requisite in order for principalship. Post graduate degree of educational sciences could be basic standart for teachers in order to be a principal in schools. The idea of life long learning and ever lasting Project management characteristics are essenntial points of what principals need to adapt for renewing and transformational schools.
