Abstract
Turkus (Turkish folk music works) reflect, Turkish society's features, history, traditions and customs. Turkus include all the emotion of a human. As the same time, Turkus reflect Turkish society's cultural and socio-economic life. With this study that has the characteristic of descriptive research, the concept of Turku and social events, facts and circumstances effects on Turkus have been emphasized. Then, "Longing", "Soldiery, war and heroism", "Prison, banditiry and rebellion", "Lullabies", "Wails" and "The folk songs about job" have been investigated in terms of social bases and the reasons. At the end of the research, social events which is important in folk culture products have been determined and inferences were made.

Türküler, Türk toplumunun özelliklerini, tarihini, gelenek ve göreneklerini en güzel ?ekilde yansytan unsurlardandyr. Ynsana ait tüm duygulary içeren türküler, ayny zamanda Türk toplumunun kültürel ve sosyo-ekonomik ya?amyny yansytan de?erlerdir. Belgesel tarama niteli?indeki bu çaly?mada, Türkü kavramy, toplumsal olay, olgu ve durumlaryn Türkülere yansyyy?y konularyna de?inildikten sonra, "Gurbet", "Askerlik, Sava? ve Kahramanlyk", "Hapishane, E?kyyalyk ve Ba?kaldyry", "Ninniler", "A?ytlar" ve "Y? Türküleri" konu ba?lyklary toplumsal dayanaklary ve nedenleri açysyndan incelenmi?tir. Ara?tyrmanyn sonucunda sözü edilen halk kültürü ürünlerinin ?ekillenmesinde önemli rol oynayan toplumsal olaylar saptanarak, çe?itli çykarymlarda bulunulmu?tur.
