Abstract
The aim of this research tackles to the speech of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the prime minister of the Republic of Turkey, which he made on April 13, 2011, in Plenary Session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly. Erdoğan`s explanations are reflected to the media as to be "Strasbourg Speech". It can be showed with this research how to put forth this speech on different daily newspapers; and to make a review on the news language that used in media. To this end, three newspaper that their names are Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet and Zamanare chosen from the Turkey press that assumed to represent the left, liberal and right parts of the media and which are the most highest traj on their own ranks. During one week following to the speech, the presentation shape of this event on the newspaper pages were investigated. As a review method, content analysis are used to supported by discourse analysis.
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı T.C. başbakanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan`ın 13 Nisan 2011 tarihinde Avrupa Konseyi Parlamenterler Meclisi Genel Kurulu`nda yapmış olduğu ve basına `Strazburg Konuşması` olarak yansıyan açıklamaların farklı günlük gazetelerde nasıl ve ne oranda yer bulduğunu ortaya koymak; buradan yola çıkarak medyada kullanılan haber dili üzerine bir inceleme yapmaktır. Bu amaçla Türkiye basınında sağ, sol ve liberal kesimleri temsil ettiği varsayılan ve kendi kulvarlarında en yüksek tirajlara sahip olan Zaman, Cumhuriyet ve Hürriyet adlı 3 gazete seçilmiş ve söz konusu konuşmayı takip eden bir hafta boyunca bu olayın gazete sayfalarında yer alış biçimi incelenmiştir. İnceleme yöntemi olarak içerik analizi, söylem analiziyle desteklenerek kullanılmıştır.
