Abstract In this study, aimed at exposing that Elazi? voters' level of political knowledge and sources that to be informed about politics and also effects of this sources to political knowledge in the duration of March 2009 Local Election, from the viewpoint of political knowledge and effects factors to level of political knowledge. With this aim, survey was administered with 413 voters who would vote in the centre of Elazy?, before 15 days from March 2009 Local Election. In this study which measured relationship between political knowledge and demographic factors, information obtained were analyzed and explained with SPSS 12.0 Package Program of Statistics. According to data obtained from this study in local elections, voters are thinking and not been adequately informed as a means of political information is also generally preferred to the media. Configure this research is important to expose current situation of voter's level of political knowledge and also has been highlighted necessity of increasing the level of political knowledge.
Özet Bu çaly?mada, siyasal bilgi ve siyasal bilgi düzeyini etkileyen faktörlerden hareketle 2009 Mart Yerel Seçimleri sürecinde Elazy? seçmenin siyasal bilgi düzeyi ile siyasal bilgilenmeye ula?ym kaynaklaryny ve bu kaynaklaryn siyasal bilgiye etkilerini ortaya çykarmak amaçlanmy?tyr. Bu amaçla 29 Mart yerel seçimlerinden 15 gün önce Elazy? merkezinde 413 seçmene anket uygulanmy?tyr. Siyasal bilginin demografik faktörlerle ili?kisinin de ölçümlendi?i bu çaly?mada, elde edilen bilgiler SPSS 12.0 Ystatistik Paket Programy ile analiz edilmi? ve de?erlendirilmi?tir. Bu çaly?madan elde edilen verilere göre seçmenler yerel seçimlerde yeterli düzeyde bilgilendirilmedi?ini dü?ünmekte ve siyasal bilgilenme aracy olarak da genellikle medyayy tercih etmektedir. Yapylan bu ara?tyrma, seçmenin siyasal bilgi düzeyine yönelik mevcut durumu ortaya koymasy açysyndan önem ta?yrken, siyasal bilgi düzeyinin arttyrylmasy gereklili?ine vurgu yapmaktadyr.
