Abstract
In this study, Tahrir Registers dated 1530 and 1591 were used and the names of person in Kelkit were evaluated. In this frame, in 1530, in total in generation of son the data of 1080 people an in generation of father the data of 606 people were examined an in generation of son 329 name and in generation of father 219 name were determined. There were 2484 people in generation of son in 1591 and 1556 people in generation of father. There were 382 names in generation of son, but there were 308 names in generation of father.According to these two Tahrir Registers, the number of people in total there were 3564 in generation of son and 2162 in generation of father. There were 726 names belongs them. These names were examined according to using percentage, variation of the names and origin and also the data of them in 1530 and 1591 were compared.

Bu çaly?mada 1530 ve 1591 tarihli Tapu Tahrir Defterleri kullanylarak Kelkit Kazasy ?ahys isimleri de?erlendirilmi?tir. Bu çerçevede 1530 yylynda toplam o?ul neslinde 1080, baba neslinde ise 606 ki?inin verisi incelenmi? ve o?ul neslinde 329, baba neslinde ise 219 isim tespit edilmi?tir. 1591 yylynda o?ul neslinde 2484, baba neslinde 1556 ki?i bulunmaktadyr. O?ul neslinde 382 isim mevcut iken baba neslindeki isim sayysy 308'dir. Yki deftere göre toplam ki?i adedi o?ul neslinde 3564, baba neslinde 2162'dir. Bunlara ait toplam 726 aded isim bulunmaktadyr. Bu isimler, 1530 ve 1591 tarihlerindeki verileri mukayese edilerek köken, kullanym yüzdeli?i, isim çe?itlili?i vb. bakymlardan incelenmi?tir.
