Abstract
Historical novel has come to the present by changing in parallel to the necessities of the era and to the scientific researches. History, being a material of fiction, appears in periodical characters according to the different points of view. The fact that the historical novels are in the hotspot of the readers has motivated the authors to give literary outputs in this way. In this study, we tried to introduce the theme, the characters, the humour elements, time, language and the reflection of expression in Kitab-ül Hiyel the historical novel of the author Yhsan Oktay Anar. The author, with his different technique and different point of view and with his novels owning a rich content, shows us that the history and reading novel should be assessed with a different perspective.

Tarihî roman, ça?yn gereklerine ve bilimsel ara?tyrmalara paralel olarak zaman içinde de?i?erek günümüze gelmi?tir. Kurgu malzemesi olan tarih, baky? açysyna göre dönemsel karakterlerde kar?ymyza çykmaktadyr. Tarihi romanlaryn okurun ilgi oda?ynda olmasy, yazarlary da bu yönde eser vermeye itmi?tir. Biz de bu çaly?mamyzda, Yazar Yhsan Oktay Anar'yn tarihi romany Kitab-ül Hiyel'de tema, ?ahys kadrosu, mizah unsurlary, zaman ve dil ve anlatym yansymalaryny ortaya koymaya çaly?tyk. Yazar, farkly tekni?i ve baky? açysyyla, zengin içeri?e sahip bu romanlaryyla tarihe ve roman okumalaryna farkly bir pencereden yakla?ylmasy gerekti?ini ortaya koymaktadyr.
