GAZİANTEP ÜNİVERSİTESİ ADLİ TIP ANABİLİM DALINA 2008 YILINDA BAŞVURMUŞ İLK CİNSİYET DEĞİŞİKLİĞİ OLGUSU

Abstract

Cinsel kimlik bozukluğu olan kişiler diğer cinsiyetten olma isteklerini belirtirler ve genellikle diğer cinsiyetin bir ferdi olma çabasında ve diğer cinsiyetten biri gibi yaşama veya davranma, ayrıca karşıt cinsiyetin cinsel karakteristiklerini kazanma isteğindedirler. Yanlış cinsiyette olduklarına inanabilirler ve "kendimi erkek vücuduna hapsedilmiş bir kadın gibi hissediyorum" ya da bunun tam tersi şeklinde ifadeler kullanabilirler. Cinsiyet değişikliği ameliyatı genellikle transseksüellere uygulanan ve tedavi yolu olarak tercih edilen bir plastik cerrahi operasyondur. Hastanın bazı organlarından mahrum olması ile sonuçlanır ve geri dönüşü yoktur. Tüm dünyada kabul edilen ilkeler doğrultusunda öncelikle transseksüalizmin tanısının yapılması, teşhis konduktan sonra da gerekli aşamalardan geçilerek operasyon uygulanması gerekir. Aksi taktirde giderilmesi mümkün olmayan fiziksel ve ruhsal zararlara yol açılabilecektir. Bu nedenle de operasyon öncesi uyulması gereken şartların ve kriterlerin titizlikle belirlenmesi şarttır. Bu çalışmada, 2008 yılında Gaziantep Üniversitesi Adli Tıp Anabilim Dalına gönderilen ve cinsiyet tashihi yönünden karar verilmesi istenen ilk transseksüel olgu değerlendirilmiştir.

EVALUATION OF FIRST TRANSSEXUAL CASE AT 2008 IN GAZIANTEP UNIVERSITY FORENSIC MEDICINE DEPARTMENT

Öz

People with the disorder manifest a stated desire to be other sex, they frequently try to pass as a member of the other sex, and they desire to live or to be treated as the other sex. In addition, they desire to acquire the sex characteristics of the opposite sex. They may believe that they were born the wrong sex, and may make such characteristic statements as "I feel that I'm a woman trapped in a male body" or vice versa. Operations for sex change belong to the field of plastic surgery and are performed to treat transexuality. The results conclude in a permanent deprivation of the genital organs and are irreversiable. But risks will increase, if sufficient concern hasn't been taken during the stage of preliminary treatment. Therefore, the diagnosis of transexuality should be well considered and standards, which are accepted worldwide, not be neglected. Criteria's and standarts of the preliminary treatment have to be determined precisely, otherwise physical and physiological problems may occur. In this study, the records of first transsexual case evaluated, send for determine at year 2008 to Gaziantep University, Forensic Medicine Department.
