KONYA İLİ EREĞLİ İLÇESİ EL DOKUMASI HALILARDA UYGULANAN İPLİK BOYAMA İŞLEMLERİ

Abstract

Anadolu kadını, sosyo ekonomik ve geleneksel yapıya uygun olarak, çok küçük yaşlardan itibaren, tüm duygu ve isteklerini, inançlarını, kendi zevk ve anlayışıyla değerlendirerek dokuduğu halılar üzerinde dile getirmektedir. Sanat boyutunda olduğu kadar ülke ekonomisinde de önemli bir yere sahip olan halıcılık, teknik açıdan küçük el sanatları olarak nitelendirilmekte ve bu sanatı yaşatan kuvvet genellikle aile temellerine dayanmaktadır. Aile bireyleri arasında el dokumacılığı ile uğraşan hemen herkes halılarda kullanılan ipliklerin hazırlanması konusunda bilgi sahibidir. Yün eğirme işlemi tamamlandıktan ve kullanılacak iplikler hazırlandıktan sonra halıya asıl desen özelliğini kazandıran, anlam ve değerini arttıran renklendirme işlemi yapılmaktadır. Bu işlemler için çoğunlukla Anadolua€â„¢da bol miktarda bulunan çeşitli boya bitkilerinden yararlanılmaktadır. Anadolua€â„¢da yüzyıllardır dokunan el halılarının bölgesel farklılıklar göstermesinde taşıdığı motif ve kompozisyon özellikleri etkili olduğu kadar, kullanılan renkler de söz sahibi durumundadır. Dolayısıyla halının dokunduğu bölgede yetişen bitki çeşitleri, kullanılan mordan ve boyama teknikleri bölgesel özellikleri belirleyen etmenlerdir. Günümüzde gittikçe azalma göstermesine rağmen, halen doğal boyama yöntemlerinin uygulandığı bölgelerin bilimsel çalışmalarla araştırılıp tespit edilmesi devamının sağlanabilmesi ve literatüre kazandırılması açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu makalede; Konya ili Ereğli ilçesinde dokunan el dokuması halılar ve uygulanan boyama işlemleri tanıtılmıştır.

YARN DYEING APPLICATIONS OF HANDWOVEN CARPETS IN KONYA CITY EREGLI DISTRICT

Abstract

Anatolian woman, evaluating with her taste and understanding according to her socio-economical and traditional structure expresses her feelings, believes and desire, over the carpets she has woven till her earliest ages. Carpet weaving, which has an important place in art dimension and in country's economy, is defined as little handicraft technically and the force that keeps the art alive depends on the family bases. All family members working in the hand-woven process have information about the preparation of the yarns used in carpets. After the wool spinning process is finished and the yarns used are prepared, the coloration which improves the meaning and value, adds the real pattern property to the carpet, is done. For this process generally the dye plants found in wide variety in Anatolia are used. The regional differences of the carpets woven for centuries in Anatolia, is both because of pattern and composition properties and because of the colors used in carpets. Therefore, the plants cultivated in the region where the carpet is woven, the mordant used and dyeing techniques are the defining factors of the regional properties. This research has importance in order to define the regions where the natural dyeing techniques are used -though decreasing day by day, scientifically and to keep their continuity and to add these techniques to the records. In this article, the hand-woven carpets from Konya city Ereğli district and applied dyeing process are introduced.
