THE EFFECT OF WEB-ASSISTED INSTRUCTION IN THE PRODUCTION OF MEN'S SHYRTS ON THE SUCCESS OF THE STUDENTS
Abstract
ABSTRACT This study was carried out in order to ascertain how the web-assisted method of teaching how to produce men's shirt, part of the Menswear Production lesson, affected the success of the students. The data for the study is provided by 43 third-year students in branches I and V of the Clothing Industry Education Department. There are 21 students in the control group and 22 in the trial group. The collated data was analyzed using the SPSS program. In order to determine whether or not there was any significant difference between the marks in the preliminary and final tests ANOVA (Dual Factor Variance Analysis) was used in the "Success Test" to analyze repeated values given for a single factor; while the t-test was used for Independent Sample Groups when determining "Product Success" points. According to the research findings, there was a significant difference seen in the marks for the production of men's shirts in web-assisted learning. Supported by the findings of this study, proposals have been made for the web-assisted method to be applied in other clothing production lessons and for clothing production lessons to be available for distance learning.

Erkek Giysi Üretimi dersinde yer alan erkek gömleği üretimi ünitesinin web destekli öğretim yöntemi
kullanılarak öğrencilerin başarılarına olan etkisini belirleyebilmek amacıyla
yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerini, Giyim Endüstrisi Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı
üçüncü sınıf 1. ve 5. şubesinde bulunan toplam 43 öğrenci oluşmaktadır. Kontrol grubunda 21, deney grubunda
22 öğrenci yer almaktadır. Araştırma
için toplanan veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. “Başarı Testi” öntest-sontest puanları
arasında anlamlı bir farkın olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla tek faktör
üzerinde tekrarlanmış ölçümler için İki Faktörlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA), “Ürün
Başarı” puanlarında İlişkisiz Örneklemler için t-testi kullanılmıştır.
Araştırmada ortaya çıkan bulgulara dayalı olarak; web destekli öğretim
yönteminin diğer giysi üretimi derslerinde de gerçekleştirilmesinin ders
ünitelerinin daha iyi bir şekilde algılanması ve uygulanması için önemli olduğu
ve ayrıca hazır giyim üretimi derslerinin uzaktan eğitim ile verilebilmesine
ilişkin öneriler sunulmuştur.
