Abstract

Aşil tendon kopması sonucu hastalarda ciddi sakatlık görülmektedir, tedaviden bağımsız olarak 2 yıl devam eden işlevsel kayıplara neden olmaktaır ve elit sportmenlerin yalnızca %50-60’ı yaralanma öncesi seviyelerine dönebilmektedir. İnsidans artışı ile birlikte, tedavide seçenekleri cerrahi ve cerrahi dışı tedavi seçeneklerini içermektedir. Yapılan prospektif randomize çalışmalar operatif ve nonoperatif tedavi sonuçları arasında önemli bir fark gösterememektedir. Derlememizin amacı rerüptür oranları, komplikasyonlar ve fonksiyonel sonuçlar açısından cerrahi ve konservatif tedaviyi kıyaslamaktır
