Öğrencilerin Tatlı Su Kaynaklarını Koruma Eğilimlerine Etki Eden Faktörler

Abstract

Bu araştırmada ortaöğretim
öğrencilerinin (N=394) tatlı su kaynaklarını koruma eğilimlerine etki eden
faktörler incelenmiştir. Araştırmada Norm-Aktivasyon-Modeli (Schwartz, 1977) temel
alınmıştır. Bağımsız değişkenlerin davranış eğilimleri ve normlar üzerindeki
etkisi, regresyon analizleriyle incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin
tatlı su kaynaklarını koruma eğilimlerine, hem yerel hem de küresel düzeydeki kişisel
normlar ve yetenek algısı güçlü etki etmiştir. Tatlı su kaynaklarının
azalmasının ekoloji/sağlık ile ilgili zararlı sonuçlarına ilişkin algı,
öğrencilerin bu kaynakları özel yaşamda koruma eğilimlerine etki etmiştir. Kişisel
normlara en güçlü etki eden değişken yetenek algısı olmuştur. Sonuç olarak
öğrenciler tatlı su kaynaklarının azalmasındaki rollerinin ve bu kaynakları
korumak için neler yapacaklarının farkında olduklarında, bu konudaki harekete
geçme eğilimleri de artmaktadır.
