Abstract

An Objective Method For Determining Refractive Errors: Retinoscopy
In the past few years, autorefractometer has became the most useful method for the measurements of retractive errors because of its rapid and reliable results. However, there are still special indications for retinoscopy. It is necessary for the ophthalmologist to know the functional principles and application properties. In this review, we targeted to explain the basic rules of this technique.

Son yıllarda kırma kusurlarının ölçümünde otorefraktometri, hızlı ve güvenilir sonuç verme özelliği nedeniyle en kullanışlı yöntem olmuştur. Ancak retinoskopinin de halen özel endi-kasyonları bulunmaktadır. Retinoskopinin çalışma prensiplerini ve uygulama özelliklerini bilmek her göz hekimi için gereklidir. Biz bu yazımızda bu tekniğin temel kuralları ve yapılış şekli hakkında bilgi vermeyi amaçladık.
