Hipoksik Ve İskemik Ensefalopatilerde Nörolojik Prognaoz: Kardiyak Arreste Bağlı Bir Persistent Vegetatif Durum Olgusu

Abstract

Neurologic Prognosis in Anoxic and Ischemic Encepholoplathies: A Case of the Persistent Vegetative State after Cardiac Arrest The age of the patient and the time interval between the cardiac arrest and cardiopulmonary ressusitaion are the most important factors that effect the neurologic prognosis. The neurological complications of cardiac arrest varies from fully alert to persistent vegetative state and brain death. All these neurologic outcomes are correlated with the severity of brain damage after ischemia. In this report, we discussed the persistent vegetative state that was occured after cardiac arrest by the view of literature. In conclusion, the importance of early resusitation in anoxic patients was emphasized. Kardiyak arrest sonrası nörolojik prognoz, genellikle hastanın yaşı ve kardiyopulmoner resusitasyon öncesindeki kardiyak arrestin süresi ile yakın ilişkilidir. Hastalarda, iskemi sonrası beyinde gelişen harabiyetin boyutuna bağlı olarak, tama yakın alert durumdan, persistan vejetatif durum hatta beyin ölümüne kadar değişen çeşitli tablolar ortaya çıkar. Bu yazıda, kardiyak arrest sonucu gelişen persistent vegatatif durum olgusu nedeniyle, hipoksik ve iskemik ensefalopatilerde nörolojik prognoz literatür eşliğinde tartışıldı. Sonuç olarak an okside kalan hastalarda erken resüsitasyonun önemi vurgulandı.
