Abstract

SUMMARY TRAUMATIC BRONCHIAL RUPTURE Thoracic traumas require emergent medical and surgical treatment because of the immediate effects on the circulatory and respiratory systems they impose. We present a case applied thoracic drainage and respiratory support within an hour after the traffic accident. Due to the absence of improvent in her general condition, she was transferred to our hospital seven hours later. Bronchoscopy revealed a rupture of the right main bronchus. The patient underwent an emergency operation,, After thoracic trauma, if respiratory distress, subcutaneous or mediastinal emphysema, hemopneumothorax„ cyanosis and hemopthesia are present, tracheobronchial trauma must be taken into consideration. ÖZET Göğüs travmaları, dolaşım ve solunum sistemlerinde erken dönemde oluşturdukları değişiklikler nedeniyle acil medikal ve cerrahi tedavi gerektirirler. Takdimi yapılan olgumuz, geçirdiği trafik kazası sonucu 1 saat içersinde gerekli toraks drenajı ve solunum desteğine rağmen genel durumunun düzelmemesi üzerine 7. saatte hastanemize kabul edildi. Acil cerrahi girişimle bronş rekonstrüksiyonu yapıldı. Göğüs travmalarında respiratuar distress, ciltaltı veya medias¬tinal amfizem, hemopnomotoraks, siyanoz ve hemoptizinin mevcudi¬yeti trakea-bronşial travmayı düşündürmelidir.
