Abstract

SUMMARY
NAPROXEN SODIUM IN THE PREVENTION OF MIGRAINE ATTACKS
In this study, the efficiency of naproxen sodium which inhibits platelet aggregation and prostaglandin biosynthesis, in migraine prophylaxis was investigated in a double-blind plasebo controlled cross-over study in 19 migraine patients. The study has shown that naproxen sodium is a useful prophylactic agent for migraine.

ÖZET
Bu çalışmada trombosit agregasyonu ile prostoglandin biyosentezini inhibe eden naproxen sodyumun migren profilaksisindeki etkinliği, 19 hasta üzerinde yapılan çift kör plasebo kontrollü çapraz bir çalışma ile araştırılmıştır. Çalışma, naproxen sod¬yum" un migren profilaksisinde yararlı bir ajan olduğunu göster¬miştir.
