Upper Esophageal Stenosis in a Case with Rothmund-Thomson Syndrome
Rothmund-Thomson .Syndrome is an autosomal recessive disease that may be accompanied by development abnormalities. Etiology of the disease Iras been postulated to DNA repair deficiency and intestinal anomaly has been very rarely. The case of RTS. admitted with dysphagia due to esophagus stenosis and his complain Is disappeared completely after esophagus dilatation, was discussed in the light of literature aknowledgement.
Rolhmund-Thomson Sendromu (RTS), gelişim bozuklukları ile birlikte olabilen ve seyrek görülen otozomal resesif geçişli kalıtsal bir sendromclur. Etyolojisinde DNA tamir bozukluğu olduğu öne sürülen hastalıkta intestinal anomalilere çok nadir rastlanmaktadır. Özol'agus stenozuna bağlı yutma güçlüğü nedeniyle başvuran ve dilatasyon sonrası yakınmaları tamamen düzelen RTS olgusu literatür bilgileri ışığında tartışıldı.
